Vasil Bozhkov, the businessman in exile and leader of the Bulgarian Summer party, whose mandate holder in the next parliamentary elections is the BNO, gave an interview to journalist Martin Karbovski.

“Nobody knows where the collection is,” replied the oligarch to the journalist’s first question, wondering where the public prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Bulgaria kept his thousands of old valuables collected over the years.

“It is more important what state it is in. The collection was confiscated in violation of three laws. I have collected it for 30 years, a treasure for Bulgaria. I do not envy those who seized it, because treasures bring curses to thieves”, Bozhkov said.

The businessman explained that he had plans to turn the Telephone House building in Sofia into a large museum, where he would display many of the artifacts he owned, but the authorities had cut the project in its infancy.

“They ruined one of my missions. I filed a lawsuit in London. I will take others. They will pay all damages and return the collection to me, after which we will make a museum,” Bozhkov said, repeating that the authorities in Bulgaria will be cursed, but not it was clear what exactly he meant by his words.

The oligarch says that if his party crosses the 4% electoral barrier and enters parliament, it will return to Bulgarian territory, whether it wants to or not, because “it cannot betray the trust of the Bulgarians who voted for it.”

Bozhkov said he would not expose any more compromising information against the Bulgarian authorities before the elections, but waited because he believed that it was not important for citizens to watch “two days of the circus” and forget about it, and for high-ranking officials to go to prison. .

The businessman said he never imagined that the state could stand up to him and “take over” his empire. He added that after the events of last year, he set himself the mission of “liberating Bulgaria” from the current elite, sacrificing his wealthy life, which, according to him, can continue without interfering in politics.

“Sooner or later, I’m coming!” Bozhkov warned again.
