Brutal scandal in the air of “Referendum”. It was based on Associate Professor Atanas Mangarov from the ABV list and Antoaneta Tsoneva from “Democratic Bulgaria”.
The two got into a heated argument, yelling at each other, and the audience couldn’t understand a word from them. Tsoneva dared to accuse Mangarov of having contributed to the infodemic in our country. He brought a disinfectant and a mask to the infectious disease specialist’s bank, neatly placed in a transparent envelope. He insisted that he had been wearing the same mask for a long time.
“This is a provocation. Wearing masks is pointless. It is a great illusion,” Mangarov said brusquely, pushing the envelope with the mask and the disinfectant bottle with his hand on the floor.
The presenter Dobrina Cheshmedzhieva repeatedly tried to take the lead in the conversation, but without success.
“Please let me ask the questions,” he called again, but Prof. Asoc. Mangarov continued with his volley, especially angered by the lack of an interlocutor against BSP.
BLIC recalls that at the beginning of the program the presenter announced that at the last moment the BSP candidate refused to participate tonight.
Associate Professor Mangarov has commented on his absence several times since the start of the show, and during this next attempt after shouting with Tsoneva, Cheshmedzhieva interrupted him:
“Give me the opportunity to speak and ask questions, at least as a member of the show team, which gives you room to speak and has invited you here,” he said, acknowledging.
“The representative of the BSP is absent for personal reasons and no one has the right to judge him for that,” he said.
