Logically, the hosts started the game more actively, and the first intervention came from Damyan Damyanov, who in the sixth minute neutralized a kick with his left foot on the right side of Thibaut Vion. In the eighth Valeri Domovchiiski led Daniel Genov behind the defense. Botev’s star Vratsa stopped in the penalty area and took a shot with his left foot, but did not find the far corner of the gate, guarded by Busato and the ball went flying.
After 11 minutes of play, the “reds” took the lead. The hosts played from the left through Bradley Maziku, who crossed for Jerome Sinclair. He passed Vion on the right, who delivered a great ball for Jordi Caicedo, and the Ecuadorian did not leave a chance for Zehirov on his rebound and beat the base yielded by Ludogorets Damyanov 1: 0.
A minute later, Alasan N’Diaye was able to equalize the result after a comical mistake by CSKA’s Jefferson on the fabric. Daniel Genov took the Brazilian and passed the midfielder, whose shot from the area was inaccurate – out. After a quarter of an hour of play, Caicedo edged out a handsome N’Diaye on the edge of the guests’ penalty area and shot to the ground, but too weak to hinder Damyanov.
In the 27th Zehirov intervened very well on defense to avoid a diagonal shot from Bradley Maziku. In the 38th minute, Caicedo stole a kicked ball from Kostadin Nichev, then broke in the direction of Botev’s goal. A strike with the right foot followed, but Damyanov deflected the blow to the Ecuadorian. A minute later, Zehirov fouled Bradley Maziku in the penalty area and referee Nikolov pointed to the white spot. Jordi Caicedo took the ball and shot with a powerful shot in the lower right corner that stopped Damyanov 2: 0.
A minute before the end, Caicedo and Koch attacked a centered ball from a corner kick, but both CSKA players missed it and she went flying.
Julian Nenov came in as a reserve for the guests at halftime and in the 47th minute he tested Busato’s concentration, catching his shot. After an hour of play, the Brazilian guard of the ‘reds’ fired in a dangerous touch from long distance, made by Hristo Zlatinski. Four minutes later CSKA’s Yomov hit the ground from the right, but Vratsa’s goalkeeper was careful.
A quarter of an hour before the end of the game, Meno Koch took the ball and ran down the left of Julian Nenov and Atanas Zehirov, after which he passed a parallel pass to Kaisedo in the penalty area of Vratsa, who with his right foot beat Damyanov 3-0.
In the 78th minute Alasan Ndiaye “gave” the ball to Bismar Charles in front of Vratsa’s penalty area. The Ghanaian striker came forward and lied to the side Damyan Damyanov, then sent the ball into his empty goal – 4: 0.
Two minutes before the end of the game, Peñaranda pulled out an excellent Caicedo behind Botev’s defense. The Ecuadorian took and advanced towards the door, going to deceive the goalkeeper Damyanov, similar to Charles’s goal, but this time Vratsa’s point guard did very well and stole the ball at Caicedo’s feet.
