Since Monday, strict restrictions caused by the spread of the coronavirus throughout the country have been introduced, Health Minister Kostadin Angelov announced today at a traditional press conference of the health authorities.

The full list of restrictions will be known after the publication of the minister’s order, which is expected by the end of the day.

The known measures so far according to the Kostadin Angelov report they are:

All food and entertainment establishments are closing;

In the hotels the guests will be fed in the rooms;

Visits to gambling halls and casinos are suspended;

Commercial sites offering non-food products with a net commercial area of ​​more than 300 square meters are being closed. Exceptions are allowed for those offering groceries, supermarkets and hypermarkets;

Visits to shopping centers, where shops, restaurants and commercial sites are located are suspended;

Mall-like shopping centers are also closing, with the exception of supermarkets, pharmacies, drug stores, opticians, pet stores, banks, insurance companies, payment service providers, dry cleaning studios, telecommunications operator offices, and more. communication service providers;

Attendance classes are suspended in schools and personal development support centers;

Visits to kindergartens and nurseries, as well as children’s centers, clubs, etc .;

Collective and extracurricular activities are suspended, due to interests, activities and others, organized in the school and extracurricular environment for all age groups;

The current learning process in the high schools is terminated;

Group classes attended in language centers, educational centers and training centers and schools are suspended;

Congress and conference events, seminars, competitions, trainings, team building, exhibitions and others are prohibited;

Visits to gyms and rooms for group activities, as well as to independent swimming complexes and pools, are suspended;

Cinemas, museums, galleries, stage events, concerts, creativity, dance and music classes are closed.

It is not allowed to organize and carry out gatherings and celebrations of a private nature: weddings, baptisms with the presence of more than 15 people;

All collective and individual sporting events are held without an audience;

Group tourist trips, excursions with organized transport and group visits to tourist sites are suspended;

It is forbidden to carry out massive public events organized outdoors: celebrations, fairs, festivals, etc .;

In all markets, markets and bazaars, an organization is created for one-way traffic and providing a distance of at least 1.5 meters between visitors. Workers and visitors must wear a protective mask;

So far, the anti-epidemic measures are being introduced for 10 days, until March 31 inclusive, but the authorities have made it clear that they can be extended if necessary. “This is the minimum time to see if there will be a result,” explained the minister. This is shorter than the usual closure period used in the last year, and the Minister explained it with the difference in the behavior of so-called a British variant of the coronavirus, which brought many people to the hospital but passed away in less time.
