Huge growth of newly infected, dead and hospitalized with Kovid-19 in our country. 4637 are the new cases of the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a higher number of new cases were reported only on November 17, 2020 – 4,828.
During the last 24 hours, 23.8% of the nearly 19,500 tests performed were positive. Most are newly infected in Sofia – 1116. Followed by the districts of Burgas – 449, Plovdiv – 362 and Varna – 343 new cases.
187 people died during the last day, which is the highest number since December 16, 2020, when there were 191, and 1877 cured were reported.
We observed the highest number of hospitalized since the beginning of the pandemic: 7269 patients, of which 577 are in intensive care units.
The total number of vaccine doses in Bulgaria is 341,707 and new doses per day are 2,828. A total of 59,994 people have been vaccinated with two doses.
