The third wave of coronavirus would set a new record in our country: the number of people in quarantine. The data curve on the Unified Information Portal clearly shows that their number is growing in the periods that are conditionally called waves, reported bTV.

The first severe peak occurred at the beginning of the coronary crisis, when the number of patients was many times less. The second peak in quarantine was in the fall, November, but even then they did not exceed 40 thousand.

Now, on March 11, there were 57,000 people who had to be isolated, and today there are about 4,000 less.

The concentration of those in quarantine is in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, data shows from coronavirus.bg.

People who are in quarantine must be isolated for 14 or 10 days, depending on whether they have a positive test, are in contact, or are returning from risky destinations.

Those who are in quarantine have the right to sick leave and those without relatives, to social assistance. In principle, if you violate the quarantine you face a fine and a sentence of “imprisonment”. The address can be verified by the police or RHI.
