The minimum wage in our country in 2025 is quite possible that it will be 600 euros. This was announced by CITUB president Plamen Dimitrov, according to reports made by union experts during a meeting with GERB representatives, a journalist said. Novini.bg

“The minimum wage usually has a positive balance, but in general the wage costs with an increase of 12 percent will be in the order of BGN 1.5 billion. This is achievable and necessary. The goal is for Bulgaria to achieve 67% in 2025 in everything: employee compensation, GDP per capita. And the minimum wage should be around 600 euros, “he said.

In this way, there will be no working poor in Bulgaria if this is done. Therefore, the work will be reimbursed, ie. The Bulgarian should have income and be able to cover expenses in a three-member household, Dimitrov added, noting that in our country about 500,000 people currently work in poverty.

“In the last 12 years, from 2008 to 2020, we have more than doubled the average net salary. Why the network? Those who observe our topic know that we calculate the funds necessary to maintain a household of four members each quarter, and this basket You must include two net salaries to cover these funds. During the last quarter of last year, 2,242 BGN were the funds necessary for the maintenance of a four-member household, generating a net profit of 1,271 BGN for both people if they work. No It is so much in 2020, but it is 84% of this amount, that is, 1,065 BGN, ” Dimitrov recalled.

Official: From January 1, 2024 we will pay in euros

He added that, in other words, this means that 15% is not enough to reach a salary that supports the median income in Bulgaria. He also pointed out that 12 years ago this percentage was 44.

“The necessary means of subsistence in 2008 was BGN 950, and de facto they received BGN 425,” said the president of CITUB.

“For us, revenue is the single most important indicator of whether we as a union get our job done and whether the government that we partner with and the employers will eventually move in one direction, revenue convergence. The move is to the rise both in terms of the means of subsistence required for a household and in terms of European average levels, measured through the respective purchasing power parity, ” added Plamen Dimitrov.

The last few months have shown us that health is the most valuable thing. Something that we seemed to have forgotten. The most important thing we will work on is that Bulgarian citizens are healthy, not cured, said Professor Kostadin Angelov.

He specified that GERB foresees an increase in the salaries of health workers. This could be done by increasing clinical pathways in the context of constructive dialogue with representatives of professional organizations.

The main causes of death in our country are cardiovascular diseases and cancer. We owe money to people with strokes, so create a training center. Several new prevention programs are planned to be introduced to reduce cancer mortality. Although it was a crisis, we launched the health information system. Electronic prescribing is already a fact, explained Professor Angelov.

“Today’s crisis has taught us to work to be more supportive. In macroeconomic terms, it turns out that we are looking in the same direction as CITUB. We have a complete party. In times of crisis, Bulgaria is one of the few countries that achieves the success. Salaries have risen, we have become members of the banking union, “explained Economy Minister Lachezar Borisov.

Lachezar Borisov with a daring forecast: in one year we will recover 90% of the losses in the pandemic

GERB expects GDP to grow to 100 billion euros by 2025, as well as the construction of a new network of industrial parks. This is the way to transform our economy. GERB will work to promote the business climate. Throughout the government’s term, we have implemented projects certified for three billion levs, added Minister Borissov.
