Megan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, said she could not be expected to remain silent if the royal family were to play an active role in spreading “eternal lies” about her and her husband, Prince Harry, BNR reported.
In an interview with famous American television host Oprah Winfrey, which will be broadcast in the United States on Sunday, Megan Markle was asked how she would feel when the royal court heard her speak about “her truth.”
The Duchess of Sussex replied that they could not expect them to remain silent after everything that happened, as the royal family had an active role in spreading lies. Megan added that even if this led to the loss of “things”, as she put it, a lot had already been lost.
Buckingham Palace is investigating allegations that Megan harassed royal family staff. The Times writes that a complaint was filed in October 2018 after Megan and Harry left Kensington Palace in May of that year.
There are leaks that Megan expelled two personal assistants from the home and inflicted “moral trauma” on a third. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex ended their role as high-ranking members of the royal family in March 2020 and now live in California.
