Botev Plovdiv and CSKA 1948 play in result 0: 1 in a match of the round of 16 of the tournament for the Bulgarian Cup.

The winner of the pair will be determined in a match, since in the event of a tie in regulation time, two extensions of 15 minutes each are played, and in the event of a new tie there are penalties.

The visiting team had a good chance in the 7th minute of the game. After attacks from the left, Denislav Alexandrov centered well in the penalty area, where Mitkov fought for the ball and shot with his head, but just beyond the gate.
The response from the hosts came almost immediately. Reda Rabey was very close to opening the scoring after trying his luck with a long shot. The Frenchman shot hard to the ground from about 25 meters, but the ball hit the side post of the gate, guarded by Dimitar Todorov.
The result of the match was opened in the 16th minute by guest captain Ivaylo Chochev. The playmaker hit a penalty, which was committed by Mario Mladenovski. The hosts’ defender made a fatal mistake taking the ball and allowed Dimitar Mitkov to carry it away. The forward invaded the penalty area, and Mladenovski acted recklessly and in his attempt to kill the ball with a split, fouled the CSKA 1948 player. Referee Georgi Davidov remained adamant, pointing at the white spot. Chochev shoots in cold blood to give his team the advantage.
In the 30th minute, Azrudin Valenchit’s players finally did something interesting up front. Emanuel Toku faked two defenders of the guests in front of the penalty area on the right and found Reda Rabey with an excellent pass down the left wing, who dominated the chest and shot hard diagonally, but over the door.
Only three minutes later Rabey had another great opportunity, but this time the visiting goalkeeper saved. With the addition of Cisse, Lyaskov acted decisively and took a corner.
