Cold weather awaits us during the week
It snows at night and early in the morning in most of the country. Snowfall will be more intense in the first hours. Gradually starting at noon they will decrease and stop from west to east. Snow cover continues to grow and is expected to average between 5 and 20 centimeters, most significant in southern Bulgaria.

Temperatures around 5 am were -11 in Dragoman, -9 in Sofia and Kyustendil and -8 in Blagoevgrad. It will be cold during the day; Around noon, the thermometers will show between -4 and +1 degrees. The wind will be with strong icy gusts in the southeast and the Rhodopes. In effect for the day there is a yellow code for low temperatures and snowfall throughout the country.
During the night, the rains will stop and early Monday will be clear in many places, except in southeastern Bulgaria. Sunrise temperatures tomorrow will be -15 in the southwestern valleys.
The week after Trifon Zarezan will be cold, especially the first few days. Daytime temperatures around zero, morning and night, down to minus 10 degrees. The wind will calm down and after Thursday it will start to warm up.
On the roads, the situation is constantly changing. Early in the morning, the passes of Predela, Prevala, Rozhen and Pechinsko passed by truck with restrictions. Pamporovo is limited to cars up to 3.5 tons.
