Inter advanced to the semi-finals of the Italian Cup after defeating Milan 2-1 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
Antonio Conte’s boys had an advantage in possession of the ball and accurate shots in the first half, but their rival looked more dangerous and deservedly opened the scoring through Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 31st minute.
Milan were hit hard before the end of an hour of play, when “Ibracadabra” was sent off for a second yellow card. Soon after, Romelu Lukaku drew a controversial penalty and Inter pressed hard.
The logical thing happened in the 97th minute (the added time was 10 minutes), when subsidiary Christian Eriksen became a hero for his team. In the semifinals, Inter will face Juventus or SPAL.
In the second minute, the ‘Rossoneri’ could find the result through Rafael Leao, but his projectile did not hit the target. Before that, Theo Hernandez and Salemakers did an excellent job building the attack.

In the 97th minute, Christian Eriksen, who came on as a substitute, became a hero for Inter, scoring a free kick. The Dane, considered completely unnecessary in Antonio Conte’s formation, crossed the wall and found the upper left corner.
