Georgi Markov of GERB is the only deputy who did not vote once during the plenary sessions of the National Assembly in 2020. This shows a reference to “Flagman”, required by the Law on Access to Public Information of the parliamentary administration.

145 were the meetings of the deputies in the period from January 1 to December 15, 2020, which the report covers. In the last three plenary days of the parliament, from December 16 to 18, Georgi Markov again did not vote because he was not present in the room.

Markov registered in 20 of a total of 148 sessions of the National Assembly last year. The former constitutional judge and “veteran” of the Grand National Assembly is known to often reside in Hungary.

However, the data of the parliamentary system may have some flaws, since according to the information provided, the emblematic MRF deputy Delyan Peevski voted four times in 2020, registering once.

However, Peevski has not appeared in the National Assembly since the European elections in mid-2019. It is unclear how he registered and how he managed to vote absentee in 2020.

At the other pole is the deputy of Pleven Ralitsa Dobreva, representative of GERB. The system recorded most of your attendance at plenary sessions in 2020 – 127.

The most voting MP of the year is Krasen Krastev from GERB (Vratsa). He did not press “for”, “against” or “abstained” only 392 times out of a total of 2977 votes in plenary for the period from January 1 to December 15, 2020. This is 86.8% efficient .

For comparison, in second place is Pavel Hristov – Varna MP from GERB, with 466 votes lost.
