Another 14,040 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 – The diseases arrived

At 7:00 am, 14,040 doses of the Pfizer / Biontech COVID-19 vaccine will arrive in Bulgaria. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

After the reception of the vaccines at 8:35 am, the Chief State Health Inspector – Associate Prof. Angel Kunchev and the Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Medicines Bogdan Kirilov will give a media briefing.

Prof. Kantardzhiev: We will not hesitate to buy another vaccine

This is another delivery of vaccines in our country. In addition to Pfizer / Biontech, our country also uses Moderna’s product. Our country has requested the largest quantity of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which, however, has not yet received approval in Europe.

Vaccination in our country began days before the New Year. The number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Bulgaria so far is a total of 26,119, and 18 of them have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
