Barcelona beat Cornea 2-0 in the third division away from the 1/16 final of the Copa del Rey.
The Catalans were forced to play 120 minutes after their modest rivals put up extremely strong resistance and exceeded their capabilities, albeit against much of Ronald Coeman’s reserves.
The result was opened by Usman Dembele in the 93rd minute. The final 2: 0 was formed by Martin Brightwight in the closing seconds.
Despite the defeat, Cornea will be remembered with the elimination of Atlético de Madrid in the previous phase of the tournament, beating the “mattresses” with 1: 0.
The first 10 minutes passed dynamically with pressure changes from both sides. The hosts tried to surprise the rival at first with three consecutive corners, but the Barça defense succeeded and then brought the game forward.
In the next 15 minutes, the game returned the same. Barcelona tried to break into the penalty area, but all access to the gate was blocked or killed. Cornea, meanwhile, responded with two new corners, but they didn’t lead to danger.
In the 26th minute Trinkao made the first shot for his team in profile, but flew high over the crossbar.
In the 33rd minute, Pjanic made a memorized corner kick, sending the ball into the goal-area goal, where Trinkao intercepted a volley, but Ramón Juan caught.
120 seconds later, Medina took a direct free kick, after which Martín hit his head, but the leather ball went over the gate.

In the 38th minute Esteyes kicked Araujo into the penalty area and the referee pointed to the white spot. Miralem Pjanic claimed responsibility for the penalty, but his performance in the lower right corner was mirrored by Juan.
In the 58th minute, a cross from a free kick was found behind the defense of Griezmann, who struck from the air but flew over the top bar from close range.
Just a minute later, Medina fired dangerously from far down the left, but Neto was brilliant.
In the 72nd minute Chiki found himself on the right flank, he went slightly inward and sent the ball to the ground around the edge, but Neto was not difficult.
6 minutes later, Barcelona received a second penalty. When Lengle was included in the penalty area, the Frenchman received a kick to the head and the referee pointed to the 11 meters. Dembélé turned gray at the white point, but sent the ball directly to the center of Juan.
In the 88th minute Miralem Pjanic made a precise shot from 15 meters, but Juan killed with the last effort.
In the 93rd minute, Langle rose above everything after a corner kick and took a very dangerous shot, but was dying near the left post.

In the second minute of the first overtime, Usman Dembélé received the ball in front of about 20 meters in front of the door and sent a brutal shot with his right foot to the upper left corner, beating Juan by 0: 1.
In the 109th minute Medina shot from afar, but right into Neto’s safe hands.
In the 122nd minute, Martin Brightway scored the final 0: 2, after finding himself alone against the goalkeeper, led by Pedri.
