Trump then went to the Andrews military base, where he said goodbye to the military. His speech began with 21 cannon salutes in his honor. Trump wished the military a good life and stressed that he would return “in some form.”
Trump’s daughter Ivanka watched the ceremony from the front row. When the crowd yelled “Thank you, Trump,” she couldn’t hold back the tears and cried.
To the sound of applause and music, the couple boarded their plane to go to their mansion in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
