552 new infected with coronavirus in Bulgaria, 6.2% of those examined, 5,660 cured

552, with 17 more cases than yesterday, are people newly diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours in a total of 8,850 tests, of which 5,735 are PCR and 3,115 are rapid antigen tests.

This is shown in the data from the National Information System. This means that 6.2% of the samples are positive.

Thus, the total number of confirmed cases rose to 211,503, of which 47,016 were active.

5,660 have been cured in the last 24 hours and their total number is 156,030.

3,500 people are hospitalized, 343 of whom are in the intensive care unit.

The death toll from a proven coronavirus infection is a total of 8,457, 61 of which are from the last 24 hours.
