Caution: Women with fillers and swollen lips should not be vaccinated with Moderna – Sociedad

Immunization with two vaccines against Kovid-19 is already underway in Bulgaria, after the first shipment of Moderna’s preparation arrived in the country yesterday.

And Professor Ilko Getov, who is a member of the European Medicines Agency, shared on the air of Bulgaria On Air which women should refrain from putting it on. He explained that the product information states that people who have undergone or are having cosmetic procedures with filler injections in the face should refrain from administering the Moderna vaccine.

The specialist said that pregnant women should be especially careful.

“From a scientific point of view, there is nothing to worry about, but the vaccines have not been tested in pregnant women. We continue to see this. Studies in experimental animals show no evidence of fetal problems.”
