Orange and yellow codes have been announced for the entire country due to heavy snowfall expected for another day. This was reported by NIMH.

An orange code is in effect for the Vidin, Vratsa and Montana districts.

There will be snowfalls, more intense at night and in the afternoon. The snow cover for midnight will increase in some places to 30-40 cm, near the Danube to 15-20 cm.

In areas with a code yellow at night, snow will turn to rain.


It will rain in the extreme southern regions, in the eastern part of the Upper Thrace lowlands and on the Black Sea coast.

It will blow moderately, in the Danube Plain and eastern Bulgaria, and there will be temporarily strong winds from the east-northeast.

The minimum temperatures will be minus 1 to 4 degrees, and the maximums, from 0 to 7 degrees, and the highest will be in the extreme south regions.

The atmospheric pressure is close to the January average; will decrease.

Snowfall is also expected in the coming days, but also a slow increase in temperatures.
