Famous Bulgarian actor Filip Trifonov has died, confirmed the Union of Bulgarian Artists for NOVA. He passed away at the age of 73.

Trifonov played leading roles in iconic films for Bulgarian cinema, such as “The Child Goes” and “Nameless Orchestra”. One of Trifonov’s earliest roles on the big screen was that of Ran in “The Boy Goes Away,” and the phrase “A Boza of 6 stotinki” became iconic.
Among the theatrical performances of the actor are the productions “Hearing”, “Second hand”, “West Germany – my homeland”, “She”, “Standing comedy”, “Lie detector”, “Testosterone”.
He is co-founder of the Trifonof & Gunderov Natural Theater together with director Nikolay Gunderov. Since the fall of 2006 he has worked at the Teatro Satírico.
