The mayors of small GERB settlements complained that they were not allowed to meet with President Rumen Radev in Kalofer. The head of state was there today on the occasion of the 173rd anniversary of the birth of Hristo Botev. In the hometown of the revolutionary poet Radev he met with the mayors.
Later, GERB officials, unable to attend the meeting, saw Radev and demanded that he not divide mayors for political reasons, BTV reported.
Radev himself commented that he did not make a division and did not know who was invited. According to him, the people he spoke to were of the opinion that they did not have the logistical preparation for elections in the pandemic.
