Dozens of taxis occupied the office of the carrier Legia. The reason: The company’s taxi drivers have yet to receive their municipal permits, reported trafficnews.bg.
Already at 9:30 am, the yellow cars and their drivers were placed in front of the doors of the company, located on 20 Dame Gruev street. The drivers told our reporter that they could not work for four days because they did not have a license . Permits must be provided by the carrier, in this case Legia. However, the municipalities were not handed over to more than 300 drivers, who in mid-December delivered the total amount of BGN 350 to the manager, Stefan Balimezov.
“At the end of the year we came to get our permits, but he told us that it had been stolen and that he had no money to get his license. We believe that this is a lie, the robbery was staged and our money has sunk into Balimeza’s schemes, ”a taxi driver told our reporter.
We remind you that on December 23, Stefan Balimezov sent a signal that the company’s office was broken into and robbed. The office’s security system was activated a few hours earlier, but when the patrol went to the scene, they found nothing suspicious. According to Balimeza, 8,000 BGN have disappeared from the coffers.
At around 10:00, more than 50 taxis stood in front of the company office, waiting for Stefan Balimezov.
Three police cars also arrived at the scene. Finally, a company representative appeared at 20 Dame Gruev Street and more than 50 people gathered outside the office doors.
There is currently no escalation of tension. There have been no scandals yet.
