The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the northeastern residential area of ​​Remete. Residents of Zagreb and its surroundings felt the earthquake, Hina said.

An earthquake in central Croatia on December 29 killed seven people, injured dozens and wreaked havoc in the Petrinja area, 50 km south of Zagreb.
