Parvomay police detained a 15-year-old who offered a bribe to police officers for driving without a license, the Interior Ministry OD press center in Plovdiv announced.
Thirty minutes before midnight on December 31, a RU-Parvomay patrol stopped a Renault car for inspection in the settlement. The vehicle, owned by someone else, was driven by a minor local resident. The uniformed officers explained to the 15-year-old that due to the offense committed, the car was going to be discharged and a record would be drawn up establishing an administrative offense.
The boy tried to evade the sanction by throwing a 50 euro note on the floor of the patrol car with the words: “This is to give you a treat!”
Law enforcement officers detained the young man in the custody of the district administration and, following a report from the competent prosecutor’s office on the case, a rapid process was initiated. The young person must be presented as a defendant under article 304a of the Penal Code. Work on the case continues with the District Attorney’s Office and Parvomay University employees.
