Unexpectedly good news for the K-19 pandemic in Bulgaria

The good news about the spread of the coronavirus in Bulgaria keep going. 1046 are the people newly diagnosed with coronavirus infection in our country during the last 24 hours. 744 of them were detected by PCR and 302 by rapid antigen tests. A total of 5739 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. 3591 of them are PCR and 2148 antigenic, according to the National Information System.

202,266 are the total number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in our country. 75,163 of them are active. 119527 are the cured, of which 1192 are registered during the last 24 hours.

4,756 patients with proven COVID-19 are housed in medical institutions, of which 464 are in intensive care units or clinics.

So far, a total of 4,739 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection and 131 of them have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours.

According to the National Information System, the medical personnel diagnosed with the new coronavirus in Bulgaria is a total of 8911. 44 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. 8 of them were found by doctors, 19 – by nurses, 10 – by nurses and 7 – by other medical personnel.

The death toll in which COVID-19 was confirmed was 7,576. 61 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours.
