Three more people were injured
One man died and three others were injured in an accident on the main Sofia – Varna highway, near the town of Mikre, announced the regional directorate of the Interior Ministry in Lovech. The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m.
Two cars collided head-on, one of which caught fire. According to initial information, a total of four people were traveling in them, all of whom were transferred to Lovech Hospital. The Emergency Medical Aid Center in Lovech reported that one of the victims died in the emergency department while in the burning car.

It was also clear that a man and a woman were seriously injured, with a 7-year-old boy traveling with his family with the slightest injuries. Traffic on the section is carried out in a single lane and is regulated by two traffic police patrols.
