A unique outdoor fantasy park with dragons from all over the world has opened in Sofia

The interactive exhibition Living Dragons Wintertale (“Living Dragons – Winter Tale”) welcomes visitors starting today, December 30, 2020.

More than 20 unique animated dragons from fairy tales, ancient myths of the East and West, fantasy books, movies and video games are displayed in the magical built outdoor park.

Visitors can not only see with their own eyes what the famous mythical monsters looked like, but also appreciate their gigantic size: the height of the figures varies from two to eight meters.

The magical park will be open every day (Monday to Sunday) from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The exhibition will remain in the city until March 15, 2021.

The exhibition is interactive and lively: all the dragons growl, move and make specific “dragon” sounds. At the same time, each has their own voice, way of behaving and even character. This is the first exhibition of this type of animated dragons, presented in Bulgaria.

The general concept of the attraction, as well as the choice of exhibits and theme park design is the work of Coco Agency, the Bulgarian company, which in the last 5 years has presented a series of interactive and educational exhibits for children, students and adults. curious.

Millions of people around the world have already visited the attraction, but for Sofia this type of fantasy park is a completely new form of entertainment. For the past two years, the exhibition has visited Israel, Saudi Arabia, Poland and Ukraine.

At Living Dragons Wintertale Park you can meet the mysterious and kind dragons of Japan, the festive dragons of China, and the fearsome dragons of Eastern and Western European traditions.

All figures and information panels provide visitors with a detailed explanation of how myths and legends about these creatures originated in different cultures around the world and why dragons are so popular.

At the theme park, children can “ride” on various exhibits, jump on a trampoline, or listen to curious stories about dragons, “told” by magical trees.

It is important to note that the park operates in accordance with all epidemiological regulations, including social distancing requirements. As the number of people who can see the exhibition at the same time is limited, visitors have the feeling of having really traveled to a fairy tale world.

Tickets are sold on-site at prices of BGN 12 for children (2-18 years old) and BGN 15 for adults. The organizers have also provided the opportunity to purchase a family ticket. Children under 2 years are free.

Given the epidemiological measures in the country, the organizers warn that the number of visitors admitted at the same time will be limited.
