8,084 tests were performed per day
1,438 are the new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. This is displayed in the Unified Information Portal data. Of the total of 8,084 tests carried out during the last day, 3703 were by PCR and 802 of them were positive. 4381 rapid antigen tests were performed, of which 636 were positive. The percentage of infected is almost 18 percent of all samples taken. To date, a total of 1,141,072 tests have been performed.
Great Britain with a new record of more than 53 thousand infected with COVID-19 per day
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Bulgaria, confirmed cases of infection are 199,491 and active cases are 76,684. Most of the new infections have been recorded in Sofia (246), Varna (171) and Plovdiv (128).
The Operational Headquarters informs that the measures are working
By the last day, 2,919 people have been cured, bringing the total number to 115,402. The victims of the pandemic are now 7,405, after 154 people lost the battle against the infection during the last day.
5023 people were hospitalized, of which 474 were in the intensive care unit.
