The anti-corruption commission filed a lawsuit against Lilyana Deyanova and her brother Alexander, reports “De Facto”. The two lawsuits were filed in the Sofia City Court.
Lilyana, known in the past as the singer Lilana, her partner Maptin Dimitrov and her brother Alexander, popular as the beatboxing singer Cilap, are accused of participating in the crime. They were named as close to businessman Vasil Bozhkov, who has a total of 18 positions. He has been hiding in the United Arab Emirates since the beginning of the year.
Initially, Martin Dimitrov was appointed leader of the criminal group of special forces, but after that, his statement was withdrawn. The first request of the anti-corruption commission against Lilyana Deyanova is the confiscation of assets worth BGN 306,000. It is as of December 18, and the case is scheduled for December 21. Alexander Deyanov’s claim is for a civil contract for 301 thousand levs. The case was filed just one day later, on December 22.
At the moment, Deyanova and Dimitrov are free, having to pay a guarantee of BGN 40,000. Alexander Deyanov, on the other hand, refused to pay our security deposit of BGN 50,000 in May and, as a sign of protest against the allegations, asked not to be arrested, but did so.
