From Ignazhden to Christmas: In five days, a 94-year-old woman overcame a COVID infection at Pavlikeni hospital.
“Not in the seventh heaven, but in the tenth,” says the cured Blaga Ruseva.
After a few days in the hospital room, Blaga, 94, accepted the good news of her recovery as a vacation. The ailments began last Saturday. A day later, she was overwhelmed with helplessness.
“Somehow it came to me by accident. But how it came, why it came, I can’t tell you,” says Blaga.
She is already bedridden on Monday. It is not she who remembers, but the cardiologist who entered the COVID ward at the beginning of the pandemic.
“Our hero, because Aunt Blaga was brought into a serious general condition. We diagnosed her with COVID pneumonia and heart disease,” says Dr. Stanislav Stoev from Pavlikeni Hospital.
To everyone’s surprise, his condition improved in an instant.
“She recovered quickly, a disciplined patient. Executive and that’s why she is discharged today,” said hospital nurses.
“The first thing I will say is that I will take pity on my children and say ‘God forbid,'” said Blaga, 94.
His relatives are even more eager to meet.
“A thousand thanks for what you did for such an elderly woman, to the doctors, nurses and paramedics,” said her daughter, Mariana Lesichkova.
The old woman will celebrate the New Year at home and is already making plans for her next birthday in September.
