Iran has prosecuted 48 people for the murder of General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed following a US drone strike earlier this year. “In the case of Soleimani’s murder, 48 people have been brought to justice,” said Ali Bakeri, Iran’s chief of human rights cabinet.
Information was also requested from the states involved in the murder. “The last country was Germany. We have received information that the US Rammstein base is involved in the exchange of information between US drones that were activated in the Soleimani assassination,” Bakeri added.
Iran previously reported 30 people responsible for the general’s assassination, including US President Donald Trump.
