The new format of the European Tournaments next season gives the Bulgarian champion great chances to play at least 8 matches in three different competitions.
The champion of our country must win the first qualifying round to secure 6 more matches. In the event of a defeat in the second round, our representative will be transferred to the Europa League. A new failure will move the team to the Playoffs of the new Conference League tournament.
Europa League play-offs guarantee a place in the Conference League groups
Even quitting in the first round will not put an end to hopes of a European campaign. Then our champion will be transferred directly to the rankings of the “Conference League” and with three successful eliminations he will be able to enter the group stage.
Unfortunately, the other three of our representatives will play in the playoffs for the new tournament, as the Europa League becomes an impossible goal.
