Russian billionaire Anton Zingarevich froze the negotiations on the acquisition of shares in Botev (Plovdiv).
Here is the message signed by Zingarevich, posted on the official website of the “Canaries”.
To avoid further speculation on the Botev (Plovdiv) issue, we call on fans, the media and the public to be informed about this complex current procedure and the multi-level conversations from the official PFC Botev website. (Plovdiv).
1. We thank the Municipality of Plovdiv for the full understanding and assistance provided regarding the general information on the future construction of the Hristo Botev Stadium. As well as for its eventual handling with the care of good owners.
2. We thank all the companies with which we had conversations and their willingness to enter into future advertising contracts.
3. We also thank the people who have been with us all this time, sincere and honest, and have given us all their help in all matters, guided only by their love for Botev.
4. We would also like to thank all the fans and fan organizations who have expressed their support for our future management.
In order to obtain the majority stake in PFC Botev Plovdiv, for almost 4 months we built our network of specialists, including financiers, lawyers, sports analysts, and we wanted to be as informed as possible about the real situation at the football club.
We are very pleased after the decision of the Botev Plovdiv Board members that more than 80% have supported us in our intention and desire to invest in PFC Botev Plovdiv.
We would like to point out that in recent days the members of the board of directors of the Board of the Botev Association have taken inconsistent actions with us and against our image. Namely:
– Sending emails to addresses that have nothing to do with my business, seeking an unethical way of conducting business negotiations.
– Disclosure to the media about the appointment of people to the future board of directors.
– The unprofessional behavior of a member of the Board of the Botev Plovdiv Association, who is allowed to write and make suggestions contrary to our conversations with our team of lawyers.
– Today we once again received an official email from the Board of Botev Plovdiv with the relevant requirements, one of which is to again acquire 10% of the shares, which I assume is dictated by the wish of the members themselves, in coordination with your financiers and lawyers.
We are writing this speech to all supporters and supporters of PFC Botev Plovdiv, guided by their position to have clarity and transparency regarding the ongoing negotiations.
We categorically affirm that at this time, receiving this attitude, we are in a position to freeze our future negotiations for the acquisition of the majority stake and investments in PFC Botev Plovdiv.
