Frenchman Paris Saint-Germain has officially decided to part ways with his coach Thomas Tuchel six months before the German’s contract expires.
On Wednesday night, the French champions beat Strasbourg 4-0 at home to Park des Princes, but a few hours later the board decided to part ways with Tuchel. After the Parisians won first place in their Champions League group, it looked like Tuhel’s future lay in Paris as the team defeated Manchester United and RB Leipzig for first place.
In two and a half years at the helm of the French team, Tuhel won six trophies and reached the final of the Champions League. However, according to publications, Tuhel has long been in conflict with the PSG leadership, as he himself admitted that he is not satisfied with the summer selection. The German does not fully understand the players. His contract generally expires until next summer and there were no negotiations to extend it.
