CSKA targets Slovak striker

Forward Filip Balay has come under scrutiny from CSKA, claims “Tema Sport”. He is a soccer player for Slovak Zlate Moravce and is having a great season so far.

Taran is the leader among scorers in the championship with Joel Kalmar of Dunajska Streda with 11 goals each.

In fact, Balay scored more than 1/3 of Zlate Moravce’s 30 goals in the championship. The team is 4th in the local championship, 20 points behind the leader Slovan (Bratislava).

Balay has 13 goals throughout the year. He scored two goals for his former club Zilina, who went bankrupt and separated from all his players.

Philip Balay was born on August 2, 1997, he is 192 cm tall and has a strong right leg. He has good rebounding, heading play and excellent placement, often scoring after an addition. In his career he fought alone in his homeland, playing only in 3 clubs: Nitra (2014-2017), Zilina (2018-2020) and Zlate Moravce, where he spent the summer. There are a total of 70 games and 32 goals for Nitra. In its first three seasons, however, the team struggled in the Second League. He played for Zilina for three years, registering 56 matches and only 7 goals in the elite, and was often sent to gain experience in the reserve team. For the Slovak youth team there are 6 matches and 1 goal. For teenagers up to 19 years it also has 6 games.

The forward’s contract with Zlate Moravce expires in the summer. There is already great interest in it.

CSKA is determined to take a striker at any cost, regardless of whether they sell Ali Sow.
