Graduation students from home. The idea is already being discussed by the department of education and IT specialists. The goal in a pandemic situation is for all exams to be taken online without the need for schools to open their doors.
The exams will be generated using special software, which is already applied successfully in several countries such as Sweden, Spain, Great Britain and Norway.
The tests in Bulgaria will be carried out as a pilot in January at various schools in Sofia and Plovdiv. If the results are successful, students across the country may have their first full-time questioning next school year.
AT SCHOOL STARTING JANUARY 4: Students from 1st to 4th grade will study in person
Schoolgirl Mia Gligorova assures that she will be much calmer if she has the opportunity to solve her tests from the sofa at home.
“I think when you are present there is more stress and tension because you are surrounded by a lot of people,” he said.
The software is based on the cloud and is based on the safest electronic environment, say the specialists who have taken on the task of integrating it in our country.
“Every student and teacher has an electronic profile. They enter and identify that they will take or take an exam. The student receives only the version of the exam, which is provided to him,” explained specialist Alexander Angelov.
At the beginning of the exam, the program locks the computer screen and the student can only use the keyboard and mouse. The countdown also begins.
“But you do get a chance to take a break if you have to go to the bathroom or another exam interruption,” Angelov explained.

Second English High School in the capital will be one of four schools where the first tests of the new system will take place. The principal states that the online test and the paper test will not differ in content. In the electronic version, however, there will be fewer copyists.
“It will be possible to automatically detect certain parameters such as time, keystrokes, resources used, which will not allow transcription, as we have always feared. There will be an opportunity to control what the students do, ”explained the school’s principal, Emilia Lazarova.
State buys 1 million rapid antigen tests
There is another advantage: students will receive their grades seconds after the exam.
“So the other problem is out: the delay in the inspection. Students will see their results immediately. Of course, it is not necessary to explain why the evaluation is like this, because it is objective,” explained the school principal.
And Mia insists that the greatest importance will not be the form of the exam, but the knowledge of the student.
“Whether the tests are present or remote, in both cases there will be tension and it will be difficult,” said the boy.
The pilot tests of the new software will last several months and will have the participation of almost 5,000 students.
The schools of our country are already on Christmas holidays. It will last until January 4. Then the youngest are expected to return to classrooms first, first through fourth grade. And for the older ones, the return will depend on the epidemiological situation.
