The head of our consular service in London, Nikolay Vanchev, is in Dover, where he currently meets our compatriots in different parking lots. Earlier in the day, he provided them with food and water. There are no toilets on site, along the road all shops and service stations are closed by the authorities.

Consul Vanchev asked the British police at the scene to provide water and mobile toilets, but was told that the police could only control traffic and public order, and ensuring these conditions should be the task of the local municipality. , with which, however, he has no connection at the moment.

According to information from our embassy, ​​both heavy vehicle drivers and Bulgarian citizens traveling by minibuses and cars to Bulgaria are blocked. Among them are families with at least 8 babies.
