The Burgas District Prosecutor’s Office detained Dragomir Valev, accused of murder, for 72 hours. The Burgas court reviewed his pre-trial detention online and ruled that Valev remained in custody after this period.
Dragomir stabbed the multiple Milen Ludia / 38 years old /, after a drunken scandal at his house, dragged him to the bed, put him there and wrapped him in a rhodope blanket. Then he quietly closed the outside door, put the key in his pocket, and left.

He spent nine years in prison for the same crime: stabbing a homeless man who died from his injuries. This year he was released and Milen Ludia took him in. The fight between the two took place after many alcohol tests, the researchers said, Blitz writes.
The crime is defined in article 116, paragraph 1, subsection 12, committed in dangerous recidivism conditions. During the investigation it was established that Dragomir killed the 38-year-old man, inflicting multiple cuts on his neck, face, arms and legs. The crime was committed with a knife that Valev grabbed from the kitchen. The accused was identified thanks to the excellent coordination between the District Prosecutor’s Office – Burgas, the agents of the Criminal Police Department of the OD of the Ministry of the Interior – Burgas and the Second Regional Directorate – Burgas.
The District Prosecutor’s Office – Burgas is about to present to the court a request for a restraining measure “detention in custody” against the accused. Forensic experts recalled that after his release from jail, this summer Dragomir again stabbed a homeless man with his knife. The incident took place in the residential area of Lazur. The homeless man was from Plovdiv, shed a cut wound and was discharged after an examination in the Emergency Department.
