Born in Zlatograd in 1942. Mihail Hadjiiliykov began his theatrical activity on the stage of the Rhodope Theater of Drama – Smolyan in 1962.
In the period 1975-76 he worked at the Dramatic Theater – Gabrovo; 1976-77 at the Dramatic Theater – Yambol; 1977-90 and from 1995 at the Dramatic Theater “Stefan Kirov” -Sliven, 1990-95 worked at the Theater Workshop “Sfumato” in Sofia, and also spent a season at the Dramatic Theater “Adriana Budevska” – Burgas.
In 1992, Hadjiiliykov was awarded the Askeer Prize in the category of male lead role for his portrayal of the innkeeper in the solo show “Jendem Khan”, as the actor is also the author of the text “Forgotten from Heaven” by E. Tomova , and the direction is the work of Ivan Dobchev, and in 2014 he was awarded the ICAR Award of Honor and Dignity.
His rich creative biography includes images that are one of the most iconic in Bulgarian drama, of which Hadjiiliykov admits he is very proud.
