Manchester United played one of their strongest matches of the season, crushing Leeds 6-2 in a match on Matchday 14 of the English Premier League.
In the first part we witnessed 5 hits.
Scott McTominey managed to pass the guests twice in the first 3 minutes of the game (2 ‘, 3’). In the 20th minute Bruno Fernandes made the lead classic and in the 37th minute Lindelof increased to 4: 0. At the end of the first half, Leeds returned a goal, through their captain Liam Cooper.
The second half did not yield in quality to the first and we saw three more goals in it. Daniel James (65 ‘) scored first and shortly after Bruno Fernandes scored his second goal of the game (69 from a penalty). Leeds returned a goal in the 73rd minute when Stuart Dallas hit the mark. This was the last goal of the match.
With the victory, the “Red Devils” climbed to 3rd place in the standings, and Leeds still occupies 14th position in the table.
The match started in a whirlwind and in the first 180 seconds of the match alone, Scott McTominay went through the Leeds gate twice. He first scored after a good, solid shot outside the penalty area, and shortly thereafter Martial put him in a great position and hit a second time. With these two goals, McTominay became the first Premier League player to score twice in the first 3 minutes of the match.
United’s superiority continued and peaked in the 20th minute. Bruno Fernandes attacked the rebound and turned the result into a classic.
The minute was 37 and the locals scored for the fourth time. The goal was scored by Victor Lindelof, who took advantage of a corner kick.

At the end of the match, United could have made their lead even more convincing, but goalkeeper Melie managed to keep his net dry several times.
