Bulgaria’s ambassador to Turkey, Nadezhda Neynsky, and her husband have suffered a serious coronavirus infection. The Neinsky family were hospitalized in Ankara for a week, where they were being treated for a worsening illness.

Neinsky recounted the experience on Darik radio.

According to her, after her condition worsened, she and her husband, Svetlin, spent a week in a hospital in Ankara. They were treated there, but without oxygen ventilation. “Thank goodness we did not go through the hardest, but it was a difficult day for both of us,” said our ambassador, adding that she was impressed by the overall organization of the system.

“It doesn’t matter if you are an ordinary person, a diplomat or a minister, the same procedure applies to all and is followed very strictly,” he added.

The sanctions in Turkey are very severe, everyone wears masks and only grocery stores are open on weekends.
The restaurants have not been open long, almost all restaurants are organized and deliver, explain the measures in our neighbor Neynsky.
