Borissov is constantly trying to outwit fate, said Lyuben Dilov’s son. Or to please people – added host Anton Hakimyan on “This Morning” on bTV.
Both commented on the measures against the pandemic.
“Our national anxiety comes down to two things: not to catch a cold and not to pass,” Lyuben Dilov told bTV, adding that right now Bulgarians are worried about both. He also commented that the EU had missed the opportunity in the COVID crisis to strengthen its authority through joint action by states and their leaders. According to him, it has a great effect on people when they feel that there is a great collective force behind them.
The COVID crisis has reinforced the Euroscepticism of Bulgarians, said Professor Rumyana Kolarova.
The two also commented on the change in health policy and the economic crisis. The protesters never managed to formulate in 100 days why Borisov and Geshev should leave, Lyuben Dilov-son said. “We understand it, about 5,000 people on the yellow cobblestones, but the grandmother of the town does not understand it,” he said.
“The protesters failed to become the majority this time, although there is a general mass approval of the protests,” said Professor Rumyana Kolarova.
