The Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office filed an accusation against Kr.N., which was attributed criminal responsibility for a crime committed by him in transport: a serious traffic accident deliberately caused that claimed the life of a traffic participant .

As a result of the investigation, it was established that around 6 pm on April 19, 2020, on Henrik Ibsen Street, before the junction with Cherni Vrah Blvd., while driving an Audi car, model P7, the defendant Kr.N . you violated the rules of the road, as a result of which you caused a traffic accident and deliberately caused the death of another participant in traffic – the driver of the car stopped on the road, brand “Subaru”, model “Forrester”, Milen TsvetkovMilen TsvetkovMilen Tsvetkov was born on July 30, 1966 in Sofia. On April 19, 2020, he died in an accident. It’s over.

The case is particularly serious: the author drove a vehicle after using three different types of drugs (amphetamine, tetrahydrocannabinol, cocaine), at a speed that significantly exceeded that allowed for the specific section of the road, around 99 km / h.

When approaching the intersection with a red light prohibitive of traffic lights due to its direction of movement, the defendant did not take measures to reduce speed or brake. At the same time, there were many other road users on the road and in the crossing area: drivers and pedestrians.

The court is about to schedule a preliminary hearing on the case.
