Anna Leikovich, 21, a medical student and well-known Moldovan vlogger, was arrested by police in Comrat for the brutal murder of her own mother, writes Novini.bg.
According to the investigation, the girl used a kitchen knife, with the help of which she cut into pieces various organs of the victim’s body, including the heart and lungs. The prosecution added that Lejkovic was under the influence of drugs when he committed the serious crime.
Before the murder, the two got into a fight and her mother urged her daughter to seek medical help to overcome her drug addiction.
After committing the crime, Lejkovic took a bath to wash off the blood and then went out to see her boyfriend and mutual friends.
On Monday, the court ordered permanent detention. A date will be set for the start of the test. If convicted, Leikovic faces between 15 and 20 years in prison or life in prison, according to world news agencies.
