The comparison between Tito and Hitler is a joke and we do not need to comment on those words. This was stated by former Macedonian diplomat Risto Nikovski, quoted by Channel 5.
The comment is on the interview of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, Ekaterina Zaharieva, to Die Welt. He rejected the actions of the former Yugoslav leader.
According to her, it is incomprehensible that he is venerated. Nikovski urged her to ask his relatives what they thought of him.
He recalled that in his time people lived in Europe. Nikovski also made a comparison between Tito and Todor Zhivkov.
According to him, while Tito lived in Europe, the Bulgarians had a horrible life. He described the Bulgarian communist leader as a terrifying figure.
The diplomat asked for a real dialogue.
