“The vaccination will be carried out in this place according to the organizational plan, which was proposed in the meeting with the six directors of the RHI responsible. There will be two ambulances on site. One is from the CSMP and in case of any type of urgent need, patients will be attended to. There is also an emergency car from the municipality of Sofia, which also has a paramedic. I tell you that the organization in the capital is done at a fairly high level, “said the Minister of Health.

He added that he was ready to open two types of similar vaccination centers against large food chains in Sofia.

Professor Angelov announced that he will help Bulgarian citizens to receive all the information about vaccines against coronavirus.

Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova explained that her team worked to provide logistics and organization.

Sofia is ready for the start of vaccination for those who want it. We express our willingness and create the appropriate organization. The RHI of Sofia will continue to organize the vaccination of the different groups, ”said Fandakova.

“They thought of all: having people wait at a safe distance, with disinfection. We have also provided an ambulance. With clear information on how many people will pass, we are ready for two additional points. We are prepared if they have to be organized in the DCCs,” he added the mayor of Sofia.

The director of the RHI of Sofia, Dr. Dancho Penchev, estimated that 84 patients will be able to pass through the vaccination points per day, from 6:30 to 20:30.

“The people who will work at the checkpoints are from RHI and the municipal health. They have expressed their desire to help, ”he added.

So far, about 40% of doctors in municipal hospitals and DCCs have wanted to get vaccinated.
