This was stated by the vice president of the Board of Directors (MB) of the Bulgarian Medical Union (BMU), Dr. Nikolay Branzalov, in the BNT “From the day” program.

More results are still needed to tackle the epidemic. It is difficult for everyone, but we must make sacrifices to save lives. We want to have fewer patients and less workload on the system. There is no longer a member of society who has not experienced the horrors of COVID-19, through their relatives or poets. The measures are for the better, “he said.

It is much more important how the entire society will survive the pandemic, so that there are fewer patients, Dr. Branzalov emphasized.

I have unofficial information that the vaccine will be approved earlier by the EC and will arrive in Bulgaria earlier than planned. The vice chairman of the BMA board said he hoped that as many people as possible would get the vaccine.

“We need to read the vaccine carefully to be able to administer it to patients correctly. We will be able to face the great challenge of convincing our patients that the vaccine will help them,” he stressed.

According to him, there is already a request for a vaccine from patients. According to him, there needs to be a large information campaign on the subject.
