United States President-Elect Joe Biden called for a complete disinfection of the White House after Donald Trump and his administration left.
Biden has already ordered that all rooms in the building, which is nearly 17,000 square meters, be thoroughly cleaned and sprayed with antiviral drugs, writes BG-VOICE.
“The Trump administration has been plagued with coronavirus for the past few months. We will not take any risks,” Biden said.
“The whole city will be thoroughly cleaned, we will even change the door handles and upholstered furniture. The virus can remain on any surface, so the entire building will be cleaned with disinfectant to “remove” any trace of Trump and his people, “Biden said.
The GSA, the administration that oversees office cleaning in the East and West wings of the White House, has confirmed that they will do whatever is necessary. Even the light switches and carpets will be replaced. Those of historical and special value will be preserved. The rest will be cleaned “seriously”.
