Tsarsko Selo “and” Levski “finished 2: 2 in an interesting round of 16 match of the First League. The clash between the two teams generated many emotions, since in addition to the four goals there were three red cards, two for the guests and one for the hosts.
The game went through a radical change, as “Tsarsko Selo” took the lead in the 20th minute with a goal from Martin Kavdanski. “Levski” was converted in just 14 minutes – in 25 Nydel Roberta tied and in 39 Stanislav Ivanov scored.
The Blues played more than 50 minutes in a small squad. Orlin Starokin was sent off before the break, and in the second half Ivaylo Naidenov received a red card.
With the point won, “Tsarsko Selo” has 17 and is eighth in the standings. Lyuboslav Penev’s team has only one win in their last six matches, losing four in a row between late October and early December. “Levski” is ninth in the table with 15 points. The Blues also have just one win in six games.
For the Blues, this was the penultimate game of the year, and a week later the team will play a derby with CSKA.
The game was marked by many moments of nervousness and a total of 12 cards, nine yellow and three red. Referee Nikolay Yordanov often had to deal with tense situations and scored more than 40 fouls in the match.
“Levski” started well and had his strong moments early on, but in the 20th minute he found himself in the role of catching up. Central defender Martin Kavdanski put Tsarsko Selo ahead after pushing the ball as it bounced off the crossbar.

However, just five minutes later, the guests managed to equalize. Nigel Roberta scored after a good attack from the left and a good pass from Mateo Stamatov.
The draw gave confidence to the blues, who began to control the ball more permanently, moved to the field of “Tsarsko Selo”, and in his actions he was more confident.

Just when the team was playing better, he was left with one less person. Within seconds, Orlin Starokin received two yellow cards, first for an answer to the judge and then, aggressively, for Nikolai Yordanov.
Although they were left with 10 people, the Blues scored a second goal when Stanislav Ivanov put “Levski” ahead in the 39th minute. In a static situation, Toma Daske won the ball, and from two meters Ivanov sent it towards the door. In the situation, the defender of “Levski” was in an ambush before passing Ivanov.
The second part was dictated by Tsarsko Selo, while Levski counterattacked. For a long time, the Blues kept their opponent away from their goal, but in the 64th minute the host captain Reyan Daskalov scored.

At the end of the game nerves took over, in the 77th minute Iliya Yurukov received a second yellow card to leave “Levski” with nine people. However, the pressure from Tsarsko Selo did not pay off. The hosts also ended up on a reduced roster following a red card from Baltanov in added time.
