British boxer Derek Chisora doesn’t think it will be a surprise if Kubrat Pulev defeats Anthony Joshua tonight and takes away his world heavyweight titles.
Chisora was defeated by Cobras 4 years ago when they were playing for the European title.
“AJ has boxed with athletes much better than Pulev, to be honest. I hope for a good match. Joshua will do his best, Kubrat will try to stop him,” Chisora commented on today’s match in an interview with Sky Sports.
“That’s why we love this sport, because there are two fighters in the ring. One has to win and the other has to lose. So it won’t be a surprise if Pulev wins and AJ loses.”
Both rivals have only one defeat in their professional careers. Joshua lost to Mexican Andy Ruiz, but then got revenge, while Pulev was defeated by Vladimir Klitschko 6 years ago in his previous bid for the world title.
Cobra and Joshua will enter the ring around midnight Bulgarian time tonight.
