Fandakova: Sofia’s kindergartens will be closed

There will be no relaxation of measures in the capital. Kindergartens and nurseries will be closed next week. This was announced by the mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova.

According to her, the decision was made after analyzing the latest data. He added that there should be no rush to relax the measures even after December 21, when the end of the partial lockdown is expected.

“We are following the data very closely. I still do not have official information from the Ministry of Health, but surely the kindergartens in Sofia will not work next week,” said Fandakova.

The mayor of Sofia pointed out that there is a certain delay in the number of new cases, but at the same time the number of hospitalized remains high.
